The walking is exceptional

The cottage is on the Dales Way. You can be deep in the fells within fifteen minutes of closing the front door.

Riverside Loop

3 miles, completely flat. Perfect with the dog — follows the Wharfe downstream and loops back through the village. About an hour.

Buckden Pike

8 miles with serious elevation. The views from the top on a clear day are worth every step. Pack a lunch and allow 4–5 hours.

The Dales Way

Kettlewell sits right on the long-distance Dales Way. Walk as much or as little as you like — maps and guides are in the welcome folder.
